X-men: Apocalypse – 10 new character posters have arrived

Would you beleive it, 20th Century Fox have have released new posters for the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse film from Bryan Singer. This time we’re getting ten, yes ten, character posters of main X-Men of the film.

We’ve recently had the Four Horsemen featurette which introduced us to Apocalypse’s chosen mutants, we’ve also see just how desctructive the world of this film will be, this time around though we get some close-up shots (albeit moody) of the ten main X-Men featured in the film.

The X-Men featured in the posters below, in the same order, are:

  • Jean Grey (Sophie Turner)
  • Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee)
  • Quicksilver (Evan Peters)
  • Professor X (James McAvoy)
  • Psylocke (Olivia Munn)
  • Cyclops (Tye Sheridan)
  • Beast (Nicholas Hoult)
  • Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence)
  • Magento (Michael Fassbender)
  • Storm (Alexandra Shipp)

Offical Synopsis for X-Men: Apocalypse

Following the critically acclaimed global smash hit X-Men: Days of Future Past, director Bryan Singer returns with X-MEN: APOCALYPSE. Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

X-Men: Apocalypse is due for release May 18th.
