Willem Dafoe announced to play mysterious “good guy” for New Justice League Movies

It has been announced that Willem Dafoe with be joining the cast of Warner Bro’s Justice League movie! This time he will be playing a good guy, but other than that, details remain unknown as to exactly who he is playing. Of course this won’t be his first run in with a super hero movie as he is known for playing Green Goblin in Sam Raimi’s Spiderman series.

The Holly Wood Reporter says that Dafoe is, “Playing a good guy in a role that will see him appear in both parts of the JL movies.”

Any specific details about the characters and story in general are being hidden under lock and key, but that doesn’t stop fans from speculating Dafoe’s mysterious character. Of course his age range helps to pinpoint possible characters he could play. From Wild cat to Highfather, HWR goes through the candidates.

There has also been no confirmation of his cast as a superhero, he may very well not be one, but will still remain on the side of good for the Justice League movies.

Director, Zack Snyder, who recently directed Batman Vs Superman will be directing both parts of the Justice League movie, which has already begun filming.

It also stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, and Ezra Miller as The Flash.

Justice League: Part One hits theaters November 17, 2017, and Justice League: Part Two will be out on June 14, 2019.
