Watch the New Trailer for LOGAN from 20th Century Fox
20th Century FOX have launched the second trailer for the upcoming Logan film, the third installment of the Wolverine franchise and they final portrayal of the character by Hugh Jackman, with Patrick Stewart as Professor X. The film is due out in a mere six weeks and will be the first within the X-Men film franchise expected to receive an R rating.
The official synopsis is as follows: In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hideout on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.
In addition to being more action packed, the new footage reveals more of Laura/X-23 than the initial trailer, and puts a heavy focus on Logan and his relationships to both her and Charles. Although the atmosphere for this trailer is drastically different than it’s predecessor, it still looks to be a promising installment to the franchise and a great send off for Hugh Jackman in the role.
