Warcraft: Latest trailer focuses on whether the races of Azeroth can be united to combat Gul’dan’s invasion force
It has been an amzing week for fans of Warcraft, we had the announcement of a prequel graphic novel to accomopany the Warcraft film, releases dates for World of Warcraft: Legion and Hearthstone: Whispers of the Old God and now we have a brand new trailer for the Warcraft movie! What a time to be alive.
The trailer opens up with the Lady Tiara and King LLane coming to the realisation that war is coming as Gul’dan’s fel enfused invasion force of war mongering orcs have arrived on Azeroth. The arrival of the orcs forces a grand Alliance to be made with the races of Azeroth, King LLane can be seen convinving dwarfes, humans and night elfs to unite otherwise “our world will perish.”
We’re also witness the strength of the young mage Khadgar, not only with his magics, but his skills as a counsel to the Alliance as he tells then “saving the world is not a one man job.”
Many fans of the Warcraft franchise has complained of the music used in the trailer, and while I agree it doesn’t fit with the Warcraft ethos, I strongly imagine it’s a smart bit of marketing work to attract fans who generally wouldn’t be attracted to a film of this sort.
