After months of general agony, we finally have a release date for Rick and Morty‘s third season!

The date has been set as July 30th and was revealed both on twitter and during the Rick and Morty livestream that happened last night on the Adult Swim website.

The livestream saw Rick and Morty creators, Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland alongside guests preview a brand new trailer for the show, admit to the show being cancelled, state that season 3 would land in 2021 before finally revealing the actual release date as June 30th at 11:30 PST.

All in all it was a classic Harmon/Roiland trolling of the Rick and Morty fans. Nothing new there, eh.

You can watch the brand new trailer below and revel in it’s glory.

Are you pumped for season 3 of Rick and Morty? Are you (understandably) sceptical about this announcement? Either way let us know in the comments below.
