LEGO have confirmed that there will be no UCS Millennium Falcon sets available in stock on its official release date of October 1st.

It’s more bad news from LEGO for fans wanting to purchase the LEGO Star Wars 75192 UCS Millennium Falcon set following the stupendous failure to accurately gauge stock levels when the set was made available for VIPs in it’s early access program last Thursday.

As noted in our release article, the LEGO Star Wars 75192 UCS Millennium Falcon set sold out unexpectedly with users soon seeing “Temporarily out of stock” messages in some regions while others were only given the option to backorder the set. LEGO eventually updated the product pages with the following note:

On Thursday, September 14, the LEGO Group gave its VIP members an opportunity to purchase the LEGO® Star Wars™ Millennium Falcon™. We are thrilled by the positive response to the set, which is the largest we’ve ever released so far. We can assure all our fans around the world, that we are doing everything we can to make more sets available and keep our LEGO builders happy.

Brick Fanatics broke the news yesterday that there would be no Falcons available on the sets release date citing the below release by the LEGO shop online.

LEGO® VIP Early Access was available for LEGO® VIP members on September 14th 2017. It’s proved to be so popular with fans that we’re currently out of stock.

75192 Millennium Falcon™ goes on sale from October 1st 2017, however due to the overwhelming success of our VIP Early Access, it will remain temporarily sold out.

We know our fans are keen to get their hands on this amazing new set and we’re working hard to make it available again as soon as we can. We don’t have an exact date yet, but keep an eye on the product page on our LEGO® Shop website for the latest information.

If you already have a Millennium Falcon™ on backorder, we’ll ship it to you as soon as more sets are available.

I do not doubt that LEGO will have the LEGO Star Wars 75192 UCS Millennium Falcon back in stock as soon as they can but following what was a similar turn of events with the LEGO NASA Apollo Saturn V set (which is still out of stock) you’d have thought the lesson would have been learnt the first time around.

While this once again proves that LEGO are struggling to forecast the needs of their customers it does show that there is a considerable appetite from the community for prestige sets such as LEGO Star Wars 75192 UCS Millennium Falcon.

  1. It’s ridiculous. What a tease. Here is the sickest set ever but sorry you can’t buy it. At all. Not a single set because we happened to sell them all before release date. Embarrassing

    1. I agree.

As a simple bloke I could tell this was going to be sold out at VIP release, yet Lego did not anticipate so many sales, thus being sold out on October 1st.
I still have it on backorder, but my excitement is diminishing and I’m getting to the point I’m going to cancel it.
