The new Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer just landed

Fans of this franchise just got the dinosaur fix they’ve been craving – the new Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer just landed.

The twitter account for the film had been promising a new trailer since Wednesday and it finally dropped – as hard and heavy as a T-Rex’s footfall – late this evening (UK time).

Until now, we’ve only had small teasers and behind the scenes features, making this the first, full trailer for the film.

More sceptical observers of this franchise will likely look at this film as just another soulless cash grab, but this isn’t Colin Trevorrow’s beast anymore – just like his days on Star Wars, he’s departed this franchise – so it’s best to give J. A. Bayona (The Orphanage, The Impossible, A Monster Calls) a chance and to try to go in with an open mind.

The film sees Jeff Goldblum reprising his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm from the original franchise, joining stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard who are reprising their roles from Jurassic World. Additional cast includes Justice Smith, James Cromwell, BD Wong, Ted Levine, Rafe Spall, and Toby Jones.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will stomp its way into cinemas on 22 June 2018.
