Over 40 new Star Wars and Rogue One toys to be available from the end of September

Ahead of the eagerly anticipated “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” film release later this year, Argos (a UK retailer) has unveiled its first batch of Rogue One toy lines, as well as some other exciting new Star Wars toys.

Available for pre-order between now and the end of September, there will be regular new additions to the site over the coming weeks with over 40 new Star Wars toys available on the 30 September to snap up online and in-store at Argos.

Unveiling its first batch of Rogue One toy offerings at a live online stream, Argos has one of the most extensive Star Wars ranges in this part of the Universe. From role play dress-up and action figures to high-tech interactive droids and exclusive “only for Argos” toys, there’s plenty on offer for Star Wars fans of all ages.

Since the very beginning of the film franchise, Argos has been the go-to place in the known galaxy for Star Wars toys, and there’s plenty to get excited about ahead of the Rogue One film launch in December.

From the BB-8 droid you can control with a Force Band to a smart device-driven R2D2, a brand new range of GlowStrike NERF blasters and exciting new LEGO builds, the range looks set to top wishlists across the country for the coming months. Range highlights include:


Star Wars BladeBuilders Spin Action Lightsaber – £49.99


Featuring a battery operated 360-degree spinning connector lightsaber hilt to intimidate opponents, swap the components around to create your preferred design or revert to the included close combat lightdagger.


Rogue One NERF Imperial Death Trooper Deluxe Blaster – £35.99


Encased in specialised Stormtrooper armor – which has a dark, ominous gleam – the Death Troopers are sinister looking indeed. Their NERF blaster features GlowStrike technology which creates a light effect when fired.


LEGO Star Wars Rogue One Krennics Imperial Shuttle – £79.99


This new Imperial starship features huge folding wings, and opening front and side panels. The cockpit also opens up with seating for four minifigures. Superb detail on this impressive set also includes a rear ramp with blaster storage, dual spring-loaded shooters and retractable landing skids.


LEGO Star Wars Rogue One Tie Striker – £59.99


With large adjustable wings, minifigure cockpit, rear hold, spring-loaded shooters, plus four minifigures this Tie Striker is ready for some mid-air action. Weapons include a blaster pistol, blaster rifle and a double-barreled blaster.


Star Wars K-2SO 20 Inch Figure – £19.99


Straight out of Star Wars: Rogue One comes the K-2SO. The Rebels reprogrammed this Imperial security droid and this 20-inch version features eight points of articulation for fully poseable film action recreation.
