Nintendo, a company close to our gaming hearts, is teaming up with Vans, the edgy and iconic skateboarding shoe and apparel company, to bring us the best shoes and apparel to take on the run with our Gameboys.

This line will include designs from many classic games such as Super Mario Bros, where you get to pick between the hero with a tie-dyed pattern or damsel in distress with a cute, pink background. The line also pays homage to the well known games, Duck Hunt and Donkey Kong. The cameo pattern works perfectly for the shooting game, while Donkey Kong’s shoes show you the game you love, as it incorporates imagery from it’s first level.

No Nintendo line would be complete without something Legend of Zelda, and they delivered with graphics and quotes right from the game. Even better, they have a pair of shoes inspired from Nintendo’s first console, the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). What could be better than looking down and seeing the console of your childhood, or kicking up your heels to see the iconic “Game over!”

If you want some new Nintendo merch, but aren’t looking for any shoes, do not fret. The line will also include apparel and accessory items for men and women. This means tees, backpacks, bags, sock, and hats. You also do not need to worry about size, as Nitendo and Vans welcomes the old and new generation of gamers and shoe enthusiasts alike to partake in this collection. The sneaker sizes range down to youth and toddlers, there being patterns designed just for children, such as characters from Mario Kart and Super Mario.

The line is available starting this Friday, June 3rd in the US, and internationally throughout the month. If you are in the US, you can check out Van‘s site to keep an eye out for the collection or find a store near you. However, if you are in the UK, you can actually pre-order before they sell out!
