It’s a good day for us ‘Planet of the Apes’ fans as 20th Century Fox have just released the third, full trailer for the film ahead of it’s July 14th release.

The new trailer briefly touches upon the origins of the mysterious girl who we’ve seen accompanying Caeser, Maurice and the other apes in previous trailers before promptly diving into the explosive conflict between the humans and the apes.

It’s becoming more and more apparent that there is a deep, even somewhat bigoted hatred between the militarised humans and Caesar’s forces and that this war is about ‘cleansing’ the planet of the apes, than it is over resources or philosophical differences.

Without a doubt we will see the human and ape conflict finally come to an end in War for the Planet for the Apes and personally I’m stoked for it. You can view the full trailer below along with a brief synopsis of the film.

In War for the Planet of the Apes, the third chapter of the critically acclaimed blockbuster franchise, Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly conflict with an army of humans led by a ruthless Colonel. After the apes suffer unimaginable losses, Caesar wrestles with his darker instincts and begins his own mythic quest to avenge his kind. As the journey finally brings them face to face, Caesar and the Colonel are pitted against each other in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species and the future of the planet.

War for the Planet for the Apes is released in UK cinemas July 14 2017.
