Marvel releases Team Thor: Part 2 video

Following last year’s Team Thor short, which hilariously revealed what Thor and Bruce Banner were up to while their teammates were off fighting one another during Captain America: Civil War, Marvel have released Team Thor: Pt. 2, ‘Where Are They Now?’ featuring the Asgardian Prince and his roommate Darryl. The mocumentary is part of the studio’s marketing campaign for the digital release of Doctor Strange, which is available now. The short is directed by comedic genius Taika Waititi (Hunt for the Wilderpeople, What We Do in the Shadows), who is also at the helm for Thor: Ragnarok due out this November.

It seems the clip is merely a glimpse at the full video, as the official post on Marvel’s youtube channel states: See all of Team Thor: Part 2 when you bring home Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange on Digital HD today.

This is only the beginning of marketing for the Marvel Cinematic Universe this year, as the studio have three feature films debuting in theaters, starting with Guardian’s of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 in May, Spider-Man: Homecoming in July, and Thor: Ragnarok in November. Not to mention the multitude of Marvel television series in production. I for one am ready to petition them to add Team Thor to the roster, as the jocular misunderstandings between Thor and Darryl are pure gold from Waititi.
