LEGO have teased us for weeks with a new massive set due to be revealed come September 1st and it’s finally and officially been revealed as a brand new Ultimate Collectors Series Millennium Falcon set.

The updated version of the UCS Millennium Falcon clocks in at over 7,500 elements and comes with 10 minifigures representing the different crews from the original trilogy and upcoming The Last Jedi instalment. It’s also packed to the rafters with details including blaster cannons, a hidden floor compartment, holographic chess board and even a switchable sensor dish.

While this set being re-released and updated with a full interior was no surprise to the community, I do think many of you will agree that the inclusion of two porgs to the minifigure line up came out of nowhere. You can see these on the side of the box in the image above.

Personally the porg minifigures aren’t for me but they certainly have that Baby Groot level of appeal to them and if these figures are exclusive to this UCS set then you can expect them to go for phenomenal prices on eBay and Bricklink later in the year.

You can find the full press release from LEGO below which details some of the set’s finer details and features.
