LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: New Mighty Micros and playsets have launched

LEGO’s newest Marvel Super Heroes releases feature three Mighty Micros sets and three regular play-sets aimed at children. While the regular playsets seem to be lacking in substance for an adult collector such as myself they do have some excellent minifigures, Red She-Hulk, She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel.

Personally I’m not the biggest fan of the Mighty Micros range, but it has to be said Thanos’ vehicle is pretty damn nifty, I love that it’s clearly a replica of his infinity gauntlet, even featuring the five infinity gems.

You can find details of all of the new releases below ordered from least to most expensive based on their RRP.

Mighty Micros: Spider-Man vs. Scorpion (76071) – RRP £8.99

Role-play a daring duel between Spider-Man and his venomous enemy Scorpion. Scorpion’s Mighty Micros car features movable pincers and tail with sting, while Spider-Man’s blue and red buggy features exhaust pipes. The super villain also has a mini-scorpion to match Spider-Man’s mini-spider. Includes two minifigures with mini legs.

Mighty Micros: Iron Man vs. Thanos (76072) – RRP £8.99

Play out a fun Mighty Micros battle between two powerful rivals. Iron Man’s car features rear rocket thrusters for fast-play action and includes a wrench to dismantle his enemy’s car. Thanos’ Mighty Micros car features five Infinity gem elements and movable front fingers that resemble the Infinity Gauntlet. Includes two minifigures with mini legs.

Mighty Micros: Wolverine vs. Magneto (76073) – RRP £8.99

Stage a mutant-powered battle between Wolverine and Magneto. Wolverine has long claws and a Mighty Micros jet featuring extendable wings to help him escape being pulled in by Magneto’s magnet-shaped car and magnetic powers. Includes two minifigures with mini legs.

Captain America Jet Pursuit (76076) – RRP £19.99

Ms. Marvel is on a mission to help retrieve Captain America’s shield from Super-Adaptoid, who is shooting back with his Power Blasts. Use her super-extending arms to attach her to the jet, which features movable wings for flying and attack modes, a minifigure cockpit with space for a shield, and dual disc shooters. Includes three minifigures.

Iron Man: Detroit Steel Strikes (76077) – RRP £29.99

Help Iron Man rescue Agent Coulson from Justin Hammer in his highly posable Detroit Steel weaponized mech with minifigure cockpit, arm-mounted chainsaw and six-stud shooter. Agent Coulson’s classic car features foldable wheels for high-flying role-play adventures. Includes three minifigures.

Hulk vs. Red Hulk (76078) – RRP £49.99

Pitch Team Hulk against Team Red Hulk in this sturdy LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes set. Fit the characters onto their tough vehicles and crash them into each other to send the big figures flying into battle.
