Avengers: Infinity War set photo revealed by the Russo Brothers and casting news
Avengers: Infinity War directors the Russo Brothers recently took to twiiter to cryptically tease a new set photo. While there’s nothing confirming what the image is supposed to be, it looks rather similar to Thanos’ vault as it was revealed in the end credits’ scene in Avengers: Age of Ultron which housed the Infinity Gauntlet. During the scene Thanos’ hand was shown reaching in for the gauntlet with the camera being angled from inside the vault, while the image above appears as if it could be the outside of the closed vault. This is merely speculation of course, and it could turn out to be something else entirely.
In related news, Deadline have reported that actress Danai Gurira is joining the cast. She will play the character Okoye, who she also portrays in next year’s Black Panther.
The film is described by Marvel Studios as being culmination of everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Iron Man(2008). Anthony and Joe Russo (Captain America: Civil War) are directing, from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The confirmed and rumored cast is extensive and includes the following:
Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, Benicio Del Toro, Sean Gunn, Benicio Del Toro, and Josh Brolin as Thanos. Possible but unconfirmed are Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Don Cheadle, Tessa Thompson, Cobie Smulders, and Chadwick Boseman. Furthermore the studio are reportedly considering Peter Dinklage for an undisclosed role. Evangeline Lilly will not appear in Infinity War, but is expected to appear in the follow up.
As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
Avengers: Infinity War is set to release on May 4, 2018.

Okja trailer #2
The second trailer for Netflix original film Okja has been released that shows a heartfelt look at the film. Okja is an upcoming South Korean-American action-adventure movie directed by Bong Joon-ho and co-written by Bong and Jon Ronson. The film stars Ahn Seo-hyun, Tilda Swinton, Jake Gyllenhaal, Paul Dano, Steven Yeun, Lily Collins, Devon Bostick, Byun Hee-bong, and Shirley Henderson. The synopsis reads as follows:
For 10 idyllic years, young Mija (An Seo Hyun) has been caretaker and constant companion to Okja—a massive animal and an even bigger friend—at her home in the mountains of South Korea. But that changes when the family-owned multinational conglomerate Mirando Corporation takes Okja for themselves and transports her to New York, where image obsessed and self-promoting CEO Lucy Mirando (Tilda Swinton) has big plans for Mija’s dearest friend.
With no particular plan but single-minded in intent, Mija sets out on a rescue mission, but her already daunting journey quickly becomes more complicated when she crosses paths with disparate groups of capitalists, demonstrators and consumers, each battling to control the fate of Okja…while all Mija wants to do is bring her friend home.
Deftly blending genres, humor, poignancy and drama, Bong Joon Ho (Snowpiercer, The Host) begins with the gentlest of premises—the bond between man and animal—and ultimately creates a distinct and layered vision of the world that addresses the animal inside us all.
Okja will premiere exclusively on Netflix on June 28.
