Harrison Ford is back again for the fifth installment of Indiana Jones
Disney has announced that Indiana Jones is coming back, and with it actor Harrison Ford and director Steven Spielberg. The famous action packed movie is coming out summer 2019 and while many are happy to see the nostalgic face of Ford as Jones, others believe he needs to turn in the whip. The actor will be turning 77 when the new movie comes out, an age that is pushing it for an action star. No doubt, much of his stunts are going to be done by a double.
Nerdist, coming up with the hashtag #FakeIndy5Titles, encouraged users to take it upon themselves to come up with witty names for the untitled movie, taking a jab at the actors age.

Others used the opportunity to make fun of the last Jones Movie, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which had been poorly received and already mocked.

Even with all the joking aside, some fans simply believe that it is time for Disney to recast, and that this is just another example of Hollywood recycling old ideas. In the movies defense, it has made roughly 2 billion USD at the global box office since its debut in 1981, billions more in merchandise, and has even been the inspiration for Disney park rides and TV shows.
It is obvious that Disney has seen that older movies have been grabbing interest, Jurassic World being a great example.
Alan Horn, chairman of The Walt Disney Studios in a news release has said “Indiana Jones is one of the greatest heroes in cinematic history, and we can’t wait to bring him back to the screen in 2019. It’s rare to have such a perfect combination of director, producers, actor and role, and we couldn’t be more excited to embark on this adventure with Harrison and Steven.”
