DOOM: Open beta announced and first look at post-launch DLC

The DOOM Open Multiplayer Beta is open for play from April 15th to the 17th – three blissful days of kicking ass in Hell. There are no codes required for the open beta, simply download the beta client and you’re ready to slaughter. Throughout the open beta you will hace access to the Team Dethmatch and Warpath modes on the Heatwave and Infernal maps.

If you missed out on all of the closed beta multiplayer action you can get a glimpse of what’s to come in the open beta below:

There will be three multiplayer DLC packs available after launch. These DLC packs will includes new weapons, hack modules, an assortment of maps and plenty more playable demons, it’s going to to brutal. We can get our hands on the first DLC pack this summer and will give us access to:

  • Three new maps
  • One new weapon
  • One new playable demon
  • One new armor set
  • One new piece of equipment
  • New hack modules and taunts
  • New customization colors and patterns

The DLC packs will cost $14.99/£11.99 each or you can them all in a Season Pass for $39.99/£29.99.

DOOM is due for release May 13th and will be available on XBOX One, PS4 and PC. #FightLikeHell
