Dark Nights, the DC comics event that has teased fans for months with evil versions of Batman is now in full swing, and DC has just released promotional images for the first of Batman’s dark multiverse counterparts: Dawnbreaker – an evil multiversal Batman with the powers of a Green Lantern.

The preview images continue with Lantern Bruce as he flies over the ruins of Arkham Asylum as an adult. We are then shown a flashback revisiting the iconic murder of his parents – with a dark twist.

Following the murder the young Bruce chases the attacker, as a Green Lantern ring arrives on the scene after sensing the willpower in the young boy. Wrought with rage, the multiversal Bruce grabs the ring and makes a choice that will shake the foundations of the entire DC Universe.
