Attack on Titan video game gets Western release date and platforms

Koei Tecmo has announced today that the highly acclaimed Japanese action game “Attack on Titan” will be getting a western launch in America this August.

The game, based on the international hit anime series of the same name, will be released in America on the 30th August following a successful launch in Japan. Sadly there is no mention of a European released in the press release provided.

Attack on Titan will be avaialble on a wide array of consoles and is currently being developed for a physical release on the PS4 and XBOX One while a digital only release will be availble for the PS3, PS Vita and via Steam for PC gamers.

The storyline of the Attack on Titan game closely follows the first season of the anime. It will revolve around the endeavours and exploits of the key characters from the anime, placing you in same shocking, grusome and exhilirating moments. The game, much like the anime, will put its focus on three young people who somehow managed to survive the destruction of their homes and city by giant man-eating Titans. The game will follow the progression of the three young survivors as they eventually join the Scout Regiment in order protect humanity from the monstorous Titans.
