Assassin’s Creed: New footage revealed in behind the scenes featurette at E3
20th Century Fox have revealed a new featurette for the Assassin’s Creed film at the E3 gaming expo in Los Angeles. The new featurette is a behind the scenes look at the film, featuring conversations with Justin Kurzel (the director) and Michael Fassbender (Callum Lynch / Aquilar) discussing the motives and events that have led Aquilar to lead an Assassins uprising against the Templars. In the Assassin’s Creed universe the assassins are fighting for the right of free will against the Templars who have been trying to enchance and upgrade humanity through the use of science.
The featurette is cut together with finished clips of the film, some of which we haven’t seen in the previously released trailers or materials. We also get to see a substantial amount of scenes before post-production has taken place, meaning plenty of wires, green screens and stunt doubles being used to help Michael Fassbender recreate some of the most iconic moves and stunts from the actual Assassin’s Creed games.
