An announcement given today by both Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Telltale Games has revealed that an agreement has been reached regarding the worldwide distribution rights for Batman – The Telltale Series, and for the much anticipated third season of The Walking Dead.

With the first episode being released in August via a digital download on consoles, PC / Mac, and iOS / Android; Batman – The Telltale Series will be available to purchase from retailers as a special ‘Season Pass DLC’ from September 13th, which shall include not only the first episode of the season, but also the subsequent four episodes as they become available.

The upcoming episodic game, based on DC’s iconic character, will be rendered to look just like a living, breathing comic book in a similar vein to The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead. Telltale’s vision of the iconic series will feature an award-winning cast of voice actors, including Troy Baker as the voice of Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant James Gordon, Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone, and Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle. Additional cast and characters are expected to be revealed as the season progresses.

Unveiled at the E3 Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles this June, the third season of The Walking Dead is expected to be released in Fall 2016 across multiple platforms and will begin the story of a mysterious newcomer known as Javier, whilst continuing the journey of Clementine as they both fight to survive in this brutal, unkind world of the living dead. The series, set within Robert Kirkman’s award-winning comic universe, has won renown throughout the world as an emotionally driven, tailored game experience which sees a player’s actions and choices determine the outcome of their tale.
