The first official Black Panther teaser trailer and poster have arrived
Witness the legend in the very first teaser trailer for Marvel’s Black Panther, and behold the unmasked hero on his Wakandan throne in the first official poster. Black Panther sees T’Challa in his first solo adventure after returning home following the events of Captain America: Civil War. The trailer gives fans a great feel for the unique tone of the film as well as a glimpse of the technologically advanced world of Wakanda and its key players. It also does well at establishing its lead character both in and out of costume, and looks to be emotionally driven with plenty of action. The official synopsis for the film reads as follows:
Marvel Studios’ Black Panther follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.
