Starz release Ash vs Evil Dead Season 2 Red Band Trailer and Comic-Con Poster
It is the week of San Diego Comic-Con and with it comes news. Fantastic, blood and guts filled news! Just in time for Comic-Con, Starz has gifted the world with, not only a red band trailer for Ash vs Evil Dead, but also a terrific Comic-Con poster for the upcoming season, one that I would very much like to put up on my wall.
In this latest trailer, we join the world’s greatest… greatest? Yeah, okay, the world’s greatest hero as he is having the time of his life in the land of his dreams – Jacksonville, Florida. His two closest allies in his fight against the Deadites, Pablo and Kelly are along with him for untold amounts of fun, endless streams of alcohol, and non-stop partying. We all know this won’t last though, right? Endless supplies of alcohol? Non-stop partying? All good things must come to an end, and it most certainly does. It isn’t long before the forces of Hell are unleashed upon the world, prompting Ash, soaked in party-goer blood, to inform an equally drenched Kelly and Pablo that they must return to Ash’s hometown of Elk Grove.
I won’t spoil the rest of what happens in this trailer as you really should take a look for yourself, but rest assured, it is incredibly good fun. Here, check it out:
Season one of Ash vs Evil Dead was absolutely outstanding in my opinion, and I cannot wait to see where season two takes us. Judging by the trailer above, there will be no shortage of the humour, gore, and messed up scenes that we have come to love and expect from the Evil Dead series. As the man himself said – “We gave peace a chance. Now it’s time for war!”. So it’s fairly safe to assume that the body count will rise, the dead shall fall, and things will no doubt spiral out of control for our first, and last, line of defence against the evil Deadites. Are your excitement levels rising?
But as mentioned, fans have also been treated to a poster for the upcoming season. I mean, just look at it. It’s great, isn’t it? As far as I can tell, there only seems to be one character omitted from the poster and that character is Ash’s father Brock (portrayed by Lee Majors). I’m not entirely sure why he has been left out of the poster, but I’m sure there’s a good reason.
Ash vs Evil Dead will return to Starz this October.
