Chris Hemsworth toys around on the set of Avengers: Infinity War

A behind the scenes video for Avengers: Infinity War has been released featuring actor Chris Hemsworth messing around with action figures used by the Russo brothers to stage scenes for the film, or so the skit would have us believe. Hemsworth is easily one of the funniest MCU cast members, as is evident in the previously released Team Thor videos part 1 and part 2. As you can see in the video, the Thor actor seems to be holding a grudge about being excluded from Civil War, but isn’t bitter toward a few of his team mates.

The film is described as described by Marvel Studios as being culmination of everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since Iron Man(2008). Anthony and Joe Russo (Captain America: Civil War) are directing, from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The confirmed and rumored cast is extensive and includes the following:

Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, Benicio Del Toro, Sean Gunn, Benicio Del Toro, and Josh Brolin as Thanos. Possible but unconfirmed are Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Don Cheadle, Tessa Thompson, Cobie Smulders, and Chadwick Boseman. Furthermore the studio are reportedly considering Peter Dinklage for an undisclosed role. Evangeline Lilly will not appear in Infinity War, but is expected to appear in the follow up.

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.

In related news Chris Hemsworth recently shared a photo of himself with Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi wearing matching shirts via Instagram (above).

Thor: Ragnarok smashes it’s way into theatres on November 4th, while Avengers: Infinity War releases on May 4, 2018.

The film is an adaptation of the Stephen King book series of the same name featuring The Gunslinger, Jake Chambers, and The Man in Black characters. A new featurette for Netflix original film Okja has been released that shows the cast introducing the main character Mija played by An Seo Hyun. Okja is an upcoming South Korean-American action-adventure movie directed by Bong Joon-ho and co-written by Bong and Jon Ronson. The film stars Ahn Seo-hyun, Tilda Swinton, Jake Gyllenhaal, Paul Dano, Steven Yeun, Lily Collins, Devon Bostick, Byun Hee-bong, and Shirley Henderson. The synopsis reads as follows:

For 10 idyllic years, young Mija (An Seo Hyun) has been caretaker and constant companion to Okja—a massive animal and an even bigger friend—at her home in the mountains of South Korea. But that changes when the family-owned multinational conglomerate Mirando Corporation takes Okja for themselves and transports her to New York, where image obsessed and self-promoting CEO Lucy Mirando (Tilda Swinton) has big plans for Mija’s dearest friend.

With no particular plan but single-minded in intent, Mija sets out on a rescue mission, but her already daunting journey quickly becomes more complicated when she crosses paths with disparate groups of capitalists, demonstrators and consumers, each battling to control the fate of Okja…while all Mija wants to do is bring her friend home.

Deftly blending genres, humor, poignancy and drama, Bong Joon Ho (Snowpiercer, The Host) begins with the gentlest of premises—the bond between man and animal—and ultimately creates a distinct and layered vision of the world that addresses the animal inside us all.

Okja will premiere exclusively on Netflix on June 28.
