With only one month to go until it’s final season, which will begin on 16th April 2017, HBO have released their full trailer for The Leftovers Season 3. This is a longer and more complete version of the first look that we received back in January.

You might already know that I am a huge fan of this show, to the point of considering one of the best shows of all time. So much so that I rewatched the first two seasons in an attempt to find clues about Season 3, which I recommend that you have a read of before the final season airs.

The new, full trailer can be viewed below:

This trailer shows a great deal more content; from downpours signalling the end of the world, to the focus on the seventh anniversary of the departure, to Nora getting a call offering a chance to see her departed children once more.

With April just around the corner, it won’t be long until we witness what Damon Lindelof and co have planned for this superb show’s closing swan song.

  1. This show it amazing on all levels: thought-provoking, powerful, and even darkly comic at times. Those who dropped out early honestly have no clue what they’ve been missing.

Hi Marky. I couldn’t agree more! I don’t know anyone personally who dropped out along the way, but those who have are indeed missing out on something truly special. Season 2 actually improved on Season 1, in my view, so there’s a lot of potential for Season 3 to continue that trend.
