Dr Martens, a famous footwear label that is popular in alternative fashion, has collaborated with Nickelodeon to create a line inspired by the 1987 animated television series, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”

These shoes take the label’s classic 1460 boots to celebrate our favorite fighting turtles, Leonardo, Donatello, Rafael, and Michelangelo. The designs are unique and while they are inspired by the original artwork, they mainly show off the characters. The boots come in four styles and come in all sizes for adults ($150 / £125), juniors ($100 / £70), and toddlers ($90 / $60).

You can watch the announcement video below, and find images of the entire range underneath:

"Leonardo stands for respect, courage and Kick ass moves. His boot has the phrase ‘Cowabunga!’ and a glow-in- the-dark slime splatters across the toe."

"Michelangelo stands for double pepperoni. His boot has his face on the toe all four turtles on the sides, mixed in with pizzas and catchphrases from the show."

Our favourite boots are the Michelangelo ones, they’re a clear winner for us. We really dig the print on the upper body of the shoe, it may have been inspired by the pizza-loving Michelangelo, but you get more bang for your buck with all of turtles being featured on this boot.

You can shop the entire collection at the label’s own physical stores, select retailers and partners, or on their online UK and US online store. You also have to give a solid shout out to the genuis designers and developers at Dr Martens who made the bold deciscion to turn the users cursor into a slice of pizza!
