We all remember Los Pollos Hermanos from AMC’s Breaking Bad, a chicken joint that was also secretly laundering money made from mass-selling meth. From the looks of it, the show’s spin-off Better Call Saul will also feature our favourite chicken restaurant and its owner Gustavo Fring, whom we all remember last seeing with only half of his face on. AMC has released a new teaser promo for season 3 of Better Call Saul, which you can see at the end of article.

The promo doesn’t feature a lot in terms of actual new footage, but it does a great job of leaving us thirsty (or hungry, rather) for more. It springs memories of Better Call Saul‘s predecessor and its commercials for Los Pollos Hermanos that we would see every now and then and that would be filled with meth-making metaphors (methaphors?). Most importantly, however, it features the fan-favourite Gustavo Fring, played by Giancarlo Esposito who won numerous awards for the role. “Come in and try our new curly fries; we are so sure you’ll like them. And if you don’t – they’re on me”, Gus proclaims, and we’re not surprised, since his profit definitely doesn’t come from fast food.

Better Call Saul, created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould and starring Bob Odenkirk as the lawyer Jimmy McGill has been running for two seasons now and has received two Emmy nominations for best drama series. It is expected to return for season 3 in April.
